Montage Legal Group was co-founded by Laurie Gormican Rowen and Erin Clary Giglia in 2009. Laurie and Erin met at Snell & Wilmer, LLP, where they worked together as associates in the Orange County office. After their daughters were born two weeks apart, the two litigators decided to go out on their own as freelance/contract attorneys.
Laurie and Erin worked for several law firms on a contract basis for a year, and in January of 2010, they added their first freelance attorney to the Montage network. Throughout 2010 and 2011, they added more attorneys to the network, all with impressive credentials from top law schools and experience from prestigious full-service law firms.
Montage Legal Group has become a nationwide network of experienced freelance attorneys all with impressive credentials from top law schools and training in prestigious law firms. Montage Legal Group includes over 60 freelance attorneys who graduated from top schools like Harvard Law, NYU Law, and UCLA Law, as well as attorneys who were associates or partners at law firms like Latham & Watkins, Paul Hastings, and Skadden Arps. All of Montage’s freelance lawyers meet Montage’s requirements to be included in the Montage network – exceptional education and training in top schools and firms, excellent substantive work product, and a strong desire to help law firms succeed.
