Want some more sunshine? The DRI Women in the Law Seminar for Legal and Business Innovators is being held at the beautiful Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach on March 13-15, 2013. The seminar, sponsored by Newport Beach firm Hewitt Wolensky, LLP, will feature excellent presentations regarding every day legal practice and trial (such as cross-examination, witness prep and jury selection), and women’s legal careers in general (such as tips to advance our careers and emotional intelligence).
The DRI Women in the Law seminar will address the unique challenges women face in the practice of law, and offers an alternative model for success, based on a woman’s distinctive communication style and personality. The program is both educational and enriching, geared to help female attorneys hone trial and business development skills. It is also an opportunity to participate in a variety of networking and social activities. This seminar boasts distinguished faculty from across the nation, including in-house lawyers from some of the most recognized companies in America, experienced and successful trial lawyers, and nationally prominent business, marketing, and trial consultants.
This year, for in-house counsel and claims representatives, DRI is offering several incentives to encourage attendance, including free registration for in-house counsel. In addition, DRI will also reimburse hotel room and airfare for any in-house counsel holding a meeting of at least 5 of their outside attorneys at the conference (which can consist of any type of meeting of their choosing!). It’s a great way to get some one-on-one time with clients and to network with other successful female lawyers.
