It is always an honor and a privilege to talk about Montage Legal Group, but its even more fun when we get to talk to a friend (especially if that friend has a radio show). Miranda McCroskey was kind enough to feature Montage Legal Group’s Erin Giglia on her terrific radio show, Lawpreneur Radio.
After graduating from law school and practicing law for the federal and state governments and in private practice, Miranda decided to hang out her own shingle. “Lawpreneur Radio” comes out of her entreprenurial spirit, and her recognition that lawyers and successful business owners are not necessarily equivalent. A successful colleague once told her that the lawyer entrepreneur’s, or “lawpreneur’s” business was 80% business and 20% law. This seemingly apt statistic might not create access for an academic legal eagle to go it on their own. Therefore, her intention is to create a community where members are both lawpreneurs who’ve figured out how to hang their shingle and thrive, and others who are wondering how or longing to take the first step or, maybe, gigantic leap.
Lawpreneur Radio features attorneys who have the entrepreneurial spirit that takes them from firm lawyer to seld-employed lawpreneur. Miranda hopes that lawyers in all stages of their careers will be inspired by the Lawpreneurs’ journeys.

Miranda McCroskey graduated from Loyola Law School, and practices criminal defense and elder law at McCroskey Legal. She founded Lawpreneur Radio in 2014.
