The upcoming election has everyone buzzing, with the candidates discussing everything from the economy to healthcare, and everything in between. But the candidates are not talking about family leave or flex-time, which affects every member of the U.S. workforce.
The Washington Post’s “On Parenting” columnist Janice D’Arcy addresses the topic with today’s article, “Parents take workplace flexibility by the horns.” D’Arcy discusses a census report, which found that the number of people who transitioned into home-based work and telecommuting has spiked in the last decade. D’Arcy states:
Good thing parents tend to be resourceful types. A new census report released Thursday suggests that some parents are not waiting around for policies to catch up with modern life.
D’Arcy highlights Montage Legal Group and Washington DC Lead Attorney Shannon Forchheimer as examples of “taking workplace flexibility by the horns.” And we hope we are! We constantly strive to provide a way for our exceptionally trained attorneys to make their careers work for them, and to use our skills to benefit law firms nationwide.
