Suits for a Cause – June, 2013

For the third year in a row, the Southern California legal community is joining together for “Suits for a Cause,” a law firm clothing drive supporting WHW (Women Helping Women/Men2Work).  WHW is an Orange County non-profit that provides, at no charge or obligation, comprehensive employment support services to empower disadvantaged men, women and teens to achieve economic self-sufficiency through employment success.

All Southern California law firms and legal groups are invited to participate in Suits for a Cause – 2013.  In 2012, over 30 law firms and legal groups participated in the event by holding simultaneous clothing drives, making it the largest clothing drive event ever held for WHW.

WHW is currently seeking law firms – from solo practitioners to large law firms – to participate in Suits for a Cause – 2013 by holding a clothing drive anytime during June to collect men’s and women’s clothing.  To participate, law firms simply need to organize a clothing drive by emailing a flyer to their firm about Suits for a Cause, and by designating a room in the firm for clothing drop-offs.  WHW will provide flyers, WHW/Men2Work brochures, and donation receipts to all participating firms.  All participating and sponsoring law firms will be listed on WHW’s website.
