Montage Legal Group is excited to announce that Super Lawyers has named Natalie Gowin a 2013 Rising Star. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Less than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the Rising Stars list. Super Lawyers also named Natalie Gowin a Rising Star in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
After having her first child in 2011, Natalie joined Montage Legal Group as a freelance attorney and currently handles complex litigation projects for law firms in Southern California. Natalie has broad experience in commercial and large scale litigation including intellectual property, secured and unsecured lending, real estate, trade secret, and unfair competition matters. Natalie has represented companies in the medical research and development, restaurant, real estate development, credit card services, and entertainment industries.
Natalie Gowin graduated from UCLA, cum laude, with a degree in Political Science. She obtained her Juris Doctor in 2004 from New York University School of Law, and began her legal career at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP in Los Angeles. When she moved to Orange County in 2006, Natalie joined the litigation department of Rutan & Tucker, LLP and practiced there for five years before becoming a freelance lawyer.
