Transitioning From Career to Stay-at-Home Mom – What’s for Work?

Almost daily, Montage Legal Group is contacted by female attorneys who are either thinking about leaving their law firms to stay-at-home with their children, or women who have been staying at home with their children for a number of years and now want to get back into the legal workforce.  We always try to give advice, but we certainly don’t claim to have all of the answers.  We were recently introduced to a group called “What’s For Work?” which helps women transition from career to stay-at-home mom, and from stay-at-home mom back to career.  We found two recent articles by What’s For Work?’s CEO, Teri Hockett, that are especially helpful to women who are thinking about making one of these large changes in their lives:
