We are ready to kick off the annual Suits for a Cause clothing drive! For the sixth year in a row, Suits for a Cause will take place during the entire month of June, uniting the Orange County legal community for a good cause. Law firms and legal businesses will join together to hold simultaneous clothing drives supporting WHW, an Orange County non-profit that provides, at no charge, comprehensive employment support services to empower the unemployed and underemployed in our community to get and keep a good job.
All Southern California law firms and legal businesses (from solo practitioners to international businesses) are invited to participate in Suits for a Cause 2016. In 2015, more than 40 law firms, law schools and businesses in the legal industry participated in the event by holding simultaneous clothing drives, making it the largest community wide clothing drive event held for WHW annually.
Organized by WHW Advisory Board Member, Isaiah Leslie of Regal Court Reporting, Suits for a Cause 2016 (#SFAC2016) is expected to be the largest clothing drive yet. This year we have five sponsors of Suits for a Cause, who have donated money to support Suits for a Cause and WHW.
To participate in Suits for a Cause 2016, firms/businesses simply need to organize a clothing drive by emailing a flyer to their firm about Suits for a Cause 2016, and by designating a room for clothing drop-offs. WHW will provide flyers, brochures, and donation receipts to all participating firms. All participants along with the five sponsors will be listed on WHW’s website and are invited to a post event breakfast on Wednesday, June 29th at WHW to celebrate the event’s success.
Montage Legal Group is again honored to serve as a sponsor. To view the list of current sponsors and participants, please visit the Suits for a Cause website, here: http://www.whw.org/donate/suits-for-a-cause and download the flyer here: Suits for a Cause Flyer – 2016.
