Jennifer G. graduated from Cornell University in 1999 with a degree in English and obtained her Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School in 2002, where she served as Executive Managing Editor of The Environmental Lawyer.
Following law school, Jennifer worked for Jackson & Campbell, P.C., where she practiced general civil litigation with a concentration in medical malpractice defense. At Jackson & Campbell, she represented self-insured hospitals, physicians, and nurses in a variety of medical malpractice cases and counseled her clients regarding best risk management practices. Jennifer was responsible for all aspects of these matters, including drafting dispositive and pre-trial motions, briefs, and memoranda, taking and defending depositions, attending mediations, and preparing for and participating in trials.
In 2006, Jennifer joined Blank Rome, LLP’s commercial litigation practice group. At Blank Rome, Jennifer amassed more litigation experience and handled a variety of contract, employment, and other legal matters. Jennifer remained with Blank Rome full-time until 2007, and part-time until 2009.
Jennifer is currently the owner of JKG Writes, a writing consulting practice. In this capacity, Jennifer works with students and professionals to develop and improve their written work products, including admission essays, resumes, cover letters, and professional thank-you notes. Jennifer lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with her husband and three children.
