Jessica C. graduated cum laude from Westmont College in 2005 with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California, School of Law in 2008, where she was actively involved in the Public Interest Law Foundation and served as Senior Editor for the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal.
Jessica began her legal career as an associate in the Orange County office of Snell & Wilmer where she focused on product liability, medical malpractice, and consumer product safety and regulatory compliance. During her time at Snell, Jessica regularly propounded and responded to discovery, took many depositions, prepared dispositive motions on a regular basis, argued motions, worked on numerous complex cases, and prepared multiple cases for trial. Jessica also second chaired a trial for a breach of warranty claim against a manufacturer. Additionally, while at Snell, Jessica co-authored an article for the Los Angeles Daily Journal and was named a Rising Star by Southern California Super Lawyers® for 2010 and 2011. She was also an active participant in the Orange County Constitutional Rights Foundation Peer Court as an attorney advisor.
Following her time at Snell & Wilmer, Jessica relocated to the U.S. territory of Guam to be with her new husband who was stationed there in his position as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) with the United States Navy. During her short time on Guam, Jessica interned with the Superior Court of Guam’s Family Violence Court. She assisted the Family Violence Court Coordinator in developing protocol to effectively monitor the program’s effectiveness and recidivism rates, and prepared informational materials for the Family Violence Court Diversion Program participants and their family members.
Jessica joined Montage Legal Group in 2012, and continues to practice law as a freelance attorney.
