Montage Legal Group is pleased to announce that freelance appellate attorney Kate Mayer Mangan has decided to devote herself full-time to her solo appellate practice. You can read more about her new practice at her website: www.mayermangan.com.
Kate has been a freelance attorney with Montage for approximately a year. During that time she has worked on a variety of litigation projects with law firms around the country. Kate will now become part of Montage’s Alumni Network.
“Montage has been critical to helping me develop my practice. Erin Giglia and Laurie Rowen, the owners of Montage, are talented and inspirational businesswomen. They have served as mentors and helped me build the business skills I needed to reach the point where I can devote all of my time to my own firm. In addition, the other Montage attorneys have been wonderful resources as I’ve been building my practice.”
Before joining Montage, Kate worked as a litigator at Latham & Watkins and at the Department of Justice, and has been an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego School of Law. Throughout her career, she has focused on appeals, and she is thrilled to be able to specialize exclusively in appellate work now.
“I am looking forward to continuing to work with Montage as my firm grows. Montage provides a valuable service for small firms like mine because they provide high quality legal work without the expense of hiring associates.”
